First of all, I firmly believe that moments are more important than poses, and that is how I approach all my photo shoots and weddings. If you're looking for a gallery full of emotionless, static, in-camera stares, I'm probably not the right photographer for you. Now that I've said that...

I love life and I love celebrating all phases and stages of life - from everyday (and sometimes seemingly monotonous) moments to one-off events of great importance. Other photographers often tell me that I should only specialise in one thing, because it would be better for my business - but I politely say thank you and keep doing my thing. Because although I choose to photograph many different subjects and events, they all have a common thread: I am photographing celebrations of life.

I am so grateful to be the person my clients choose to capture these moments for them and I cannot imagine doing anything else. Nothing gives me more joy when a former wedding client contacts me and asks me to photograph their maternity, newborn or family photos - or even their portraits for a new career path they are embarking on!

I am real. I love clients who are real. I want my photos to reflect our reality. I believe in doing things because you want to do them and because your heart and soul tell you to do them, not because society says you should. I don't take pictures to get them published on blogs or to win prizes; I take pictures so that my incredible clients can relive smiles, laughter and tears for a lifetime. (Don't get me wrong, my work deserves to be blogged about and to win prizes - but they are not my priorities). I love that life is unwritten and I love capturing it for my clients. I want to provide you with beautiful images full of emotion for your walls, so that on difficult days (you know what I am talking about) you can look fondly at our images and remember what is REALLY important in life.
